Michael A. Silverman

Mr. Silverman joined Katalyst Securities in 2014 after 13 years of venture capital and investment banking experience that focuses primarily on life science and technology sectors of the capital markets.  Mr. Silverman has been affiliated with broker dealers who successfully raised over $1 billion in private and public financings for early stage, start up  and venture backed companies located in the US and Europe.  Mr. Silverman’s  client base is composed of ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices and specialty funds.  Through his vast network, Mr. Silverman has provided human capital to build out management teams and boards of many of his portfolio companies.  Mr. Silverman began his career at Sanford Bernstein as a co portfolio manager for institutional investors.  

Mr. Silverman holds Series  7, 24, 63, 79 and 99 registrations with the FINRA.

Stephen A. Renaud

Mr. Renaud has more than 28 years’ experience in the financial services industry.  For the past 12 years, Mr. Renaud has focused on venture capital raises for companies in life science and biotechnology sectors of the capital markets.  Mr. Renaud has been affiliated with broker dealers who successfully raised over $300 mm in private financings for startup microcap companies to ventured back late stage companies.  Mr. Renaud began his career at Smith Barney in its high net worth and retirement planning division. 

Mr. Renaud holds Series  7 and 63 registrations with the FINRA.

Jeffrey Berman

Jeffrey has been partnering with exceptional management teams for over twenty-five years, helping them meet their capital requirements and business development needs. Working with a broad range of businesses, from pre-revenue to middle market, Jeffrey has successfully raised over one billion dollars for companies across the globe.

Benjamin T. Abrams

Mr. Abrams  joined Katalyst Securities in 2020 after a decade in the print,  packaging and cannabis sectors during which he structured synergy and business development between these sectors.

Through this vast network Mr. Abrams has successfully raised for cannabis businesses early stage startups and later stage financing. Mr. Abrams ability to see synergy between industries has also provided successful raises in the advanced photonics technology sector. Mr. Abrams client base is comprised of ultra-high net worth individuals and family offices. 

Mr. Abrams is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Isenberg School of Business. Mr. Abrams holds SIE, Series 7 and 63 registrations with the FINRA.
